FAST TRACK CONSTRUCTION
This contract was time critical with a deadline of less than 7 months to install all G + 3 Levels floor joists plus the Roof tapered beams for all 64 Apartment Buildings
The LGS Lattice Beam Floor Joists weighed an average of 55Kg so handling of the floor joists did not require cranes to place into position, a team of only 3 men per apartment manually carried, lifted and placed all the floor joists
The Key benefit of LGS was the speed and handling because the frames, beams are light weight with all LGS work completed in only 45 days
LGS Methodology
The perimeter wall plates of the Apartments were installed with Z Brackets and this made for rapid installation of the floor joists, placing and fixing a floor joist in less than 12-15 minutes
Apartment lattice beam joists were manufactured from a C89mm Profile and common areas with a C140mm Profile, the lattice frame providing easy access for MEP Services conduits, small bore plumbing and space for recessed lighting
The roof was constructed from tapered LGS roof beams manufactured with a C140 Profile

This project required SFS SP160 C89 Framers (89mm profile) to manufacture the apartment walls, floor joists and SFS SP160 C140 Framers (140mm profile) for common area and wide span roof beams
